Thornburgh, (SIOR, CCIM, CPM, FRICS) manages the activities of SIOR and executes the guidelines set by the Board of Directors and its Governance Committee. He also served as SIOR Global President and served on the SIOR Board of Directors.

A long-time commercial real estate specialist based in Los Angeles, Thornburgh brings over 25 years of industry knowledge and leadership experience, with a strong focus on integrity and a transformational, service-oriented style. .

He went to the SIOR of Kidder Mathewswhere he was a shareholder and regional president of the brokerage for many years.

For much of his professional career, Thornburgh served as CEO of Heger Industrial, a leading real estate company with a 60-year heritage in the Los Angeles market. Prior to Heger, he worked with R3 Investment Group – a company he still owns.

He has also been consistently recognized in the commercial real estate industry for his focus on innovation and his passion for helping others achieve their goals. In 2020, he was honored as “Best Boss” by ALM Media.
