Real estate broker and developer, Anthony L. Santilli, of Narragansett, dies at 86

Anthony L. Santilli, 86, of Narragansett, passed away on August 28, 2021, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Warwick, he was the son of the late Antonio and Elisa (Petrarca) Santilli and husband of Rita (Izzi) Santilli.

Anthony was a graduate of Providence College and attended Boston College Law School. He was chairman of West Warwick City Council for ten years and a successful property broker and developer. He enjoyed weekends with family and friends at Bonnet Shores Beach Club.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Anthony Jr. (Randi), Thomas (Joy) and Peter (Susan) Santilli. He was the proud grandfather of seven grandchildren:

Christopher, Peter, Jessica, Jake, Thomas, Julia and Rachael.

The family would like to give special thanks to the dedicated caregivers at Anthony and Hope Health Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Christian burial mass on Friday, September 3 at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, West Warwick, RI.

Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, West Warwick.
